Welcome to the website of Agora NextGen!
These Terms of Use regulate the relations between the Agora Next Gen consortium and visitors on the Agora NextGen website, including the simulation game, regardless of being juridical or natural persons. Any visitor of the Agora NextGen website and player of the simulation game is entitled to access the information published on it under the conditions set forth. By browsing our website or playing the simulation game, you (as a visitor) agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree with the provisions of this document, please do not access and/or use the website and the simulation game.
The Agora NextGen consortium is an international partnership, which is composed of the following organisations (partners, members): Kommunity (coordinator, Austria), European Dialogue (Slovakia), The Future Now Association (Bulgaria), Celje Youth Centre (Slovenia), and Palacký University Olomouc (the Czech Republic).

Our services
The Agora NextGen project aims to equip young people with the necessary knowledge of democratic processes and decision making as well as build capacity and create resources for youth workers to support the social and political participation of young people. The resources developed in this project contribute to empowering young people to participate as active citizens with interactive and youth oriented methods.
Agora NextGen is designed to foster youth participation in democratic life through resources for the target group and the field of youth work that help to raise the ability, competences and motivation of young people for social and civic engagement. The content of Agora NextGen available via this website includes: Agora’s Media Library (online learning platform), Agora NextGen Simulation game on election processes, and Advocacy Guidebook on different aspects and possibilities of democratic participation.
All services/products provided on the Agora NextGen website, including the simulation game, are free of charge.
We do not bear responsibility if you cannot access the website or simulation game due to problems, which are not in our control.
Your rights and obligations
All visitors are entitled to access the content available on the Agora NextGen website and the simulation game for the aims and purposes, which are in alignment with the Agora NextGen project’s aims or for any other non-profit purpose as long as the usage of the information respects the intellectual property rights over it. Personal Data Protection - Agora NextGen Simulation game
By registering to the simulation game, a person authorises the Agora NextGen consortium to process their data that they used to fill in the registration form. Agora NextGen consortium confirms compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies.
In the case of the Agora NextGen simulation game, it uses only strictly necessary cookies for its normal functioning and for the smooth maintenance of its content and of users accounts. We use only two types of cookies – one that keeps information if you have consented to the usage of cookies and one that keeps users logged in for a period of time. The last cookie is automatically deleted when a user logs out.

These cookies collect data to remember choices users make to improve and give a more personalised experience.
Essential cookies
These cookies enable core functionality such as security, verification of identity, and network management. This cookie also keeps users logged in for a period of time and it is automatically deleted when a user logs out. These cookies can’t be disabled.
Updating our Terms of Use
The Agora NextGen website and simulation game are developed in accordance with the Description of action under Agreement No 2022-2-AT01-KA220-YOU-000099879, which pre-defines our services. However, our team shall continue its work to improve the provided services, where deemed necessary. In case such improvements or changes in the applicable law necessitate the update of the present Terms of Use, we shall inform you about any introduced amendments by publishing the new version on the Agora NextGen website and noting it in the News section.
We will only make changes if the provisions are no longer appropriate or if they are incomplete. Such notifications will be sent no later than 7 days from the date of the adoption of the amendments.
Once any updated Terms are in effect, you will be bound by them if you continue to use our services. If not specified otherwise, the new Terms shall enter into force 20 days after the update notification, unless the changes are required by law.
Additional provisions
The Terms of Use shall be governed by Austrian and European law and for all matters not settled by the present Terms of Use, the provisions of the Austrian and European legislation in force shall apply.
You agree that any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of our website or the simulation game will be resolved amicably and in good faith, through negotiations and mutual concessions. If an agreement cannot be reached you agree that the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court.
The present Terms of Use are adopted by all Partners acting jointly as the Agora NextGen consortium.
